Arriving at the Spa
We recommend you arrive at least 30 mins before your first scheduled appointment to allow time to register with the Spa, have a tour of the facilities and to change. It is important that you liaise with us if you have special travelling arrangements that could affect your treatment times.
Treatments
The Spa will advise you where and when you should arrive to the treatment area for your treatment; should you arrive late to any appointment; it will result in the time being deducted from your treatment. Where a package invites you to choose from a selection of treatments, we would encourage these to be selected prior to arrival at the Spa.
What is the dress code?
All spas operate an informal dress code and it is usual to wear bathrobe and slippers, swimwear, gym wear or leisure wear during the day – it is important that you feel at ease. Towels, robes and slippers will be provided by the Spa on a complimentary basis. When staying overnight at a Destination Spa or Hotel Spa, you may like to take smart/casual clothing for dinner. Hotel Spas often have dedicated areas you may wear bathrobe and slippers and in the main hotel areas regular clothing may be required.
Can I book additional treatments on the day?
eyeSpa books your inclusive package, and once you have arrived at the venue you may book additional treatments with the Spa which must be settled prior to departure. In some cases your Spa package may not include use of all the Spa facilities but you may upgrade on arrival to include such facilities and settle with the Spa directly any additional costs.
Medical Advice
All Spas will require you to complete a Health Questionnaire prior to any treatments taking place; this is for your well being. There are a number of medical conditions which can have contra-indications with certain treatments and should this affect you, the therapist will endeavour to change your treatments. However, we recommend you advise the eyeSpa booking team if you or any of your Spa guests have a medical condition. In some cases we would recommend you check with your GP prior to booking your Spa visit. There is no conclusive list of conditions, however should you have any condition in the list below, please advise us at the booking stage to enable us to give you every assistance in planning your Spa visit:
Cancer, Claustrophobia, Diabetes, Ear Infections, Epilepsy, Heart Problems, Metal pins/plates, Mobility Problems, Nuts or Wheat Allergies, Pregnancy, Seafood/Shellfish Allergies, Skin Diseases/disorders, Surgery in the last 3 months, Thyroid active/under active or Verrucas/Warts.
Pregnancy
If you or any of your Spa guests are pregnant, it is imperative that you advise the eyeSpa booking team to enable us to advise what therapies and facilities will be suitable. In most cases our Spas do offer specialist treatments during pregnancy however these do carry special conditions.
Smoking and Mobile Phones
Visiting a Spa is a time for you to relax and unwind away from the stresses and strains of daily life. Most Spas operate both a non smoking policy and request mobile phones to be switched off, for the comfort of all guests. In most venues there will be dedicated smoking areas.
Children
The minimum age for children to visit a Spa is 16 years of age, and at some Spas this may be 18 years of age. From time to time Spas may offer promotions for younger Spa goers but this will be restricted to the Spa times for accepting the Spa package advertised on the website.
