The Runnymede Hotel and Spa is a four star hotel set on the banks of the River Thames in Egham, near the historic town of Royal Windsor. As a family owned hotel, we pride ourselves on a warm, welcoming and highly professional service. In October 2007, Runnymede launched its new look: Following on the heels of the success of ‘Aquitaine’ their deluxe group day suite, the Beauty Therapy Centre has undergone a make over which also incorporates ‘Eleanor’s Retreat’ which will be specialising in treatments for two, whether it be mother & daughter, couples or friends.
Runnymede has 180 guest rooms including 3 riverside apartments. All of our accommodation offers the comfort, luxury and individual touches that you would expect from one of the UK’s largest family-run 4 star hotels.
Our philosophy at the Runnymede Spa is that whether you need relaxation, to be energised or just an excuse to be pampered, we can offer the ultimate escape to suit your needs.
The Runnymede Spa facilities include an air-sprung exercise studio with a popular mix of classes, an air-conditioned gymnasium with cutting edge equipment, 5 all weather tennis courts, a naturally lit 18-metre neo-classical swimming pool, a eucalyptus steam room, multiple saunas, ice cold plunge pools complemented by a heated whirlpool bath and most importantly, poolside and garden relaxation areas!
Eleanor’s Retreat and Aquitaine suite both offer an exclusive signature treatment menu to which the latest edition is the ESPA Ayurvedic Body Ritual.
Aquitaine also incorporates a private relaxation lounge with plasma screen, music facilities and refreshment bar. A Champagne lunch will be served by your personal hostess and treatments performed within the incorporated treatment area. Your day concludes with a cleansing fresh fruit platter, and more time to relax and unwind.
