Set in the Leicestershire countryside, Ragdale Hall Health Hydro and Thermal Spa is the perfect place to be pampered and to really relax. Perfect for a day package, short break or holiday, Ragdale Hall combines state of the art facilities with the charm of traditional Victorian architecture to create one of the most luxurious health resorts in the country.

Ragdale Hall has received "Health Spa of the Year" awards each year for the last ten years, since 1999 in fact - the only UK health spa to achieve this. Having won “Best Destination Spa” in the Professional Beauty Awards six times in the last nine years, in 2007 Ragdale were voted Best Destination Spa in Europe. In 2008 Ragdale was once again voted "Residential Spa of the Year" by Professional Beauty.

One of the unique aspects to Ragdale Hall is that once you arrive, all facilities are availble to our guests at no extra cost. There is a huge array of leisure activities, a Spa Area, separate ladies and gents sauna, steam and plunge pool area, gymnasium with separate cardio vascular and free weight sections and cardio theatre facilitiy. There are over 18 exercise and relaxation classes held daily as well as workshops, talks and demonstrations.

During the summer months the outdoor pool is fully operational and, weather permitting, the tennis courts, pitch and putt course, volley ball, croquet and boules areas are all available to guests. Mountain bikes and cycle routes are also at our guests' disposal.

After three years of planning and researching, and eighteen months of building, our new multi-million pound state-of-the-art Thermal Spa is now open.

Many of the experiences have been exclusively designed for Ragdale Hall, creating a haven of luxurious tranquillity – the like of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Designed like a cross section of a giant nautilus shell, guests are cocooned within a sanctuary of warm, calm and nurturing energies featuring 12 luxurious and unique heat and water experiences.

Nature is at it’s heart – the gentle curve of each and every wall draws you to the heart of the spa and enhances the positive flow of energy. Natural materials including rocks, stone and lush planting abound.

Attention to detail is everything – from the boundless supply of warm, fluffy towels to the specially-designed shelves for spectacles outside each of the heat rooms, we have tried to anticipate your every need. There are water features and fountains everywhere to calm the senses whilst a changing dynamic of colours and scents mean that no two experiences are likely to be the same. The Thermal Spa is like an indoor playground for adults so relax, have fun and really enjoy this unique experience!
