Danesfield House Hotel and Spa is located between Marlow and Henley-on-Thames, and set within 65 acres of magnificent estate land in the heart of the Chilterns. It has 87 individually furnished guest bedrooms – 11 of which are suites – many with stunning views over the hotel’s formal gardens and the hills beyond.
Danesfield Spa is the stunning spa complex at Danesfield House Hotel, the luxury country house hotel near Marlow-on-Thames, Buckinghamshire. With views over the River Thames, the spa nestles behind an avenue of ancient lime trees within the grounds of Danesfield House and was carefully designed, in keeping with English Heritage, to ensure that it blends in with the existing house and offers direct access for guests from the hotel to the Spa.
The interior décor has been chosen to create a feeling of calm and peace upon entering and features lots of natural wood textures whilst the treatment rooms themselves are named after the many trees which surround the Spa. The whole layout follows a carefully planned design to give guests the ultimate spa experience.
Highlights of the Spa include a magnificent 20-metre indoor swimming pool and whirlpool in stunning blue mosaic tiling and eight treatment rooms offering over 50 treatments from ESPA, Molton Brown and Jessica.

The swimming pool and whirlpool are surrounded by beautiful hand painted murals, created by a group of four artists who were responsible for the murals at the newly opened Royal Opera House in London and La Scala in Milan. Swimmers can also relax and enjoy the views over the hotel gardens. Within the comfort of the individual consultation suites, ESPA, Molton Brown and Jessica treatments carefully combine the therapeutic benefits of spa treatment, aromatherapy and hydrotherapy. Additional facilities at the Spa include a hydrotherapy suite; Zen studio offering a selection of lifestyle classes; fitness studio featuring TechnoGym equipment; sauna, steam-room, whirlpool and solarium; a Jessica manicure/pedicure/Molton Brown makeup suite; male and female relax lounges and refreshment bar. Hotel guests can enjoy complimentary access to the spa and a small membership is available as are Spa days and Spa half days.
